By: Nicole Lustig Hey everyone! This week's ad has us in Canada where Axe is going straight for the jugular of Old Spice and its fans. Unless you've been living under a rock, Old Spice's wildly popular campaign, "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like" has garnered international attention and a plethora of awards. Feeling the pain, Axe has unleashed new billboards across Canada, taking a stab at beefy men that are seemingly more preoccupied with horses rather than women. The billboard speaks for itself, really. Now in my opinion, I haven't been stirred by an Axe advertisement since they had women smelling it through the pipes of their apartment buildings. The Old Spice campaign not only took a simple idea and made it appeal to everyone (not to mention Isaiah Mustafa in a towel helped), but it infiltrated nearly every branch of media we connect with.
